Painted this painting with custom brushes that I’ve made myself, instead of other people’s presets. It made me realise how much I like painting uniforms.
The Pacific is such a heartbreaking show, and I tried to convey some of that in this painting. I’d never done camouflage before, and that was a challenge, but I’m really proud of how it turned out. I seem to have mastered the art of blurry backgrounds.
